Viva Variety Blackpool
Martin Slater and Gina Halden were guests at the Viva Variety season finale on Sunday 13th November. Headlined by vocal legend, Joe Longthorne and a 4 piece live band and hosted by Leye D Johns with his Viva Showgirls, the evening also featured vocalist Jennifer Ball, comedian Johnnie Casson and master of illusion Michael Jordan. On arrival, all guests were shown to their reserved tables. We had chosen to sample the evening carvery, which was plentiful and excellent. Drinks could be purchased direct from the bar or you could choose to have waiter service at the table, which is highly recommended.
For anyone who remembers the good old days of the ‘Golden Garter’, ‘Willows Variety’ or ‘Talk of the Town’ in Manchester, all of which provided excellent value for money entertainment and where many a rising star was born, then Viva has it all and is an extremely well run professional venue in a superb location in the centre of Blackpool.
