New Year in Paris – Celebrate on the Champs-Élysées!
Celebrate New Year in Paris – Bonne Année!
From a spectacular light show at the Arc de Triomphe to Champagne and ‘papillottes‘, Paris offers an unforgettable way to ring in the New Year! One of the world’s great cities, Paris has it all.
Attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the Louvre are world famous. Meanwhile the boulevards and cobbled streets ooze with character and ambience. However tempting it is to stick to the beaten paths leading to the Arc de Triomphe, Sacré Cœur and Champs-Élysées, Paris offers so much more at this special time of year. Lift the lid and the city is full of alternative sights and undiscovered gems. Cruise down the famous River Seine and see some of the city’s most famous landmarks from a different perspective as you sail past the Musée d’Orsay or Place St Michel.
Furthermore, the city’s excellent public transport allows you to celebrate the new year into the early hours. Most metro lines run all through the night! We can arrange restaurants for any evenings if required. Enjoy the City of Lights at its finest and party like a Parisian.
With a selection of excellent 4* hotels on offer across the city, offering good transport links by road or public transport, treat yourself to a little luxury to start the New Year!
Just 4 hours from Calais by coach, Paris is also easily accessible by Eurostar train from the heart of London! Equally, with two major international airports boasting excellent flight connections to numerous UK airports, Paris has never been easier to reach from across the United Kingdom. Ring in the New Year in style!

New Year's Eve
Roll in the New Year on the Champs-Élysées
In the day time, why not enjoy a guided tour of the French capital to discover the sights the city has to offer – both world famous landmarks and lesser-known highlights only a local can point out. Traditional half-day city tours are always best sellers, but why not consider a tour at sunset where you can see Paris at its most beautiful, showcasing the city’s wonderfully lit buildings and monuments.
Alternatively, why not ascend to the top of Tour Montparnasse 56 for one of the best views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower in town! At 689ft tall and Paris’s only skyscraper, the indoor viewing platform and visitor centre on the 56th floor offers excellent 360° panoramas. Head to the rooftop terrace at sundown for a light show and views of the illuminated monuments – what better way to see the first sunset of the year!
In the evening, wrap up warm and head to one of the world’s most famous streets, the Champs-Élysées! Take your place for the fantastic ‘son et lumiere’ light and sound show which plays out over the Arc de Triomphe. The centre of the Paris party, the atmosphere is buzzing with excitement ready for the stroke of midnight!
