Dancing in the Street!
This week Paul, Marina and Katharine took a trip to London and Brighton to inspect some new attractions and visit some old favourites.
First up was Kensington Palace and the brand new Diana: Her Fashion Story exhibition. We were very excited to be some of the first visitors to see these iconic dresses and the crowds were out in force. We also visited the V&A which which also features in our fashionable Fit for a Princess tour.
In the evening we headed to the West End to watch Motown: The Musical which chronicles the tumultuous history of Motown – we were dancing in our seats to classic songs such as ‘Dancing in the Street’ and ‘My Girl’. It is a truly marvellous show that we highly recommend to all our groups who are looking for a unique theatre experience.
In Brighton we took the audio tour around the Royal Pavilion where we marvelled at the 12ft dragon chandelier hanging over the sumptuous red and gold Banqueting Room. The Royal Pavillion was George VI pleasure palace where he loved to sing, dance and entertain the fashionable elite of the time.
What better way to end a day at the seaside than a trip to the famed seafront seafood restaurant, The Regency.
