HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ award-winning TV series is a global phenomenon. Fans of the show are now flocking to Northern Ireland’s stunning Causeway where much of the series was filmed. This Belfast based tour takes you to Castle Ward, used as the location of Winterfell. We also visit the Game of Thrones Studio Tour where we journey through the making of ‘Game
of Thrones’, beginning at The Wall in the vast and frozen North and all that lies in the darkness beyond!

Day 1

Travel to Scotland for Ferry departure.

Ferry from Cairnryan in Scotland to Belfast. Travel to your Belfast hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 2

‘Game of Thrones’ Film Locations

Depart on a scenic drive that takes in some famous Game of Thrones filming locations including Carrickfergus Castle, Carnlough Village, Dunluce Castle, Larry Bane Quarry and The Dark Hedges (limited access and parking charges may apply). Next, we visit the Ulster Folk Museum, an incredible living history museum, which lets visitors experience life in Ireland over 100 years ago.

Day 3

Castle Ward and ‘Game of Thrones’ Studio Tour

Sharpen your sword and tighten your shield strap! This morning, head to National Trust’s Castle Ward which provided the location for Winterfell. Afternoon visit to the Game of Thrones Studio Tour located at the authentic filming location of Linden Mill Studios, here you step behind the scenes of The Seven Kingdoms and beyond. See how one of the world’s greatest ever TV series was created and brought to life on screen.

Day 4

Return Home

After an early breakfast, take a morning ferry from Belfast to Scotland and return home.
