River Rafting in Shropshire

Last week UK and Ireland Product Manager Katharine took to the water with her family to try out Shropshire Raft Tours. This friendly company offer a range of raft activities including a number of x16 seater rafts which are suitable for groups looking for a new adventure! There is a small amount of off-road walking up and down woodland paths to get to the river. The 2 mile trip downstream took us under Ironbridge (currently under refurbishment) and along the scenic stretch of river, during which our guide Nigel told us all about the areas rich industrial history. After our sunny sail we called into Blist Hill Victorian Town where we used Victorian coins to purchase boiled sweets, freshly made bread, and silk fabric, all sold in the speciality shops.
