Puy du Fou Theme Park – History is Waiting for You
An amazing place just waiting to be seen! Puy du Fou is the third most visited theme park in France and has won several international awards among which the “World’s Best Show” for the Mime et l’Etoile show (in Hollywood – Los Angeles) which was launched in 2023 and “World’s Best Theme Park” in 2012 and 2014. A visit will be an unforgettable experience for everyone, with spectacular performances, epic adventures and thrills!
Located in the grounds of a ruined castle, Puy du Fou offers incredible shows, onsite hotels and restaurants and promises an amazing time. The entrance fee includes access to more than 500 acres, where you will discover a splendid natural park with 20 spectacular shows by day and by night, four authentic villages with their craftsmen and more than 1,500 animals in the heart of a century-old forest.

Le Mime et l’Etoile – A Belle Époque gypsy mime falls for a famous actress. In a Méliès-style studio, where the audience discovers a black-and-white set that, with perpetual movement via an ingenious mechanism transport the characters into a live film. The whole story hinges on transitioning from black and white silent films to colourful talking pictures. Awarded “The Oscar for the Best Show in the World” by the most prestigious international jury at the THEA Awards Ceremony in Hollywood – The Oscars of Live Performance. Allow: 28 minutes
Le Signe du Triomphe – Go back 2,000 years, take your seats in the magnificent 7,000-seat Gallo-Roman Stadium, and prepare to be transported by the electric atmosphere! Gallic prisoners must win the Circus Games under the watchful eye of the Roman governor and his people. Throughout this show, they will take part in several events, must go head-to-head with the terrible gladiators, and win the iconic chariot race! Allow: 35 minutes
Le Bal des Oiseaux Fantomes – Master falconers orchestrate a spell-binding ballet of birds in the setting of a ruined castle. Witness more than 330 magnificent birds, including eagles, falcons, vultures, kites, owls, and dozens of other birds of prey, and get ready for an unforgettable, graceful experience! Allow: 33 minutes
Le Dernier Panache – Learn about the life of Charette, a veteran of the American War of Independence who changed dramatically in the French Revolution 1793. You’ll be able to follow the great events that sealed Charette’s destiny, in this great epic and moving show, with one-of-a-kind virtual 360° staging! This show has won numerous awards, including the “Best Show in the World” award. Allow: 30 minutes
Les Vikings – Travel back to the first century and watch an epic spectacle featuring the Viking invasion, set in a recreated village with dramatic battles and stunning special effects. Only a miracle can save the villagers from the fury of these fearsome assailants! A fantastic immersive historical experience. Allow: 26 minutes
Mousquetaire de Richelieu – Join the French musketeers for a swashbuckling adventure. It is a flamboyant, romantic story with swordfights, flamenco dancing, and equestrian feats! Staged in the Grand Carrousel, an oversized theater equipped with the largest stage curtain in the world. Allow: 32 minutes
Le Secret de la Lance – During the Hundred Years’ War, Jeanne d’Arc meets the knight Fulgent, to gather all the best warriors ready to fight the English. A young shepherdess discovers a lance with special powers and protects a medieval castle against the enemy attack. Spectacular horse stunt riding and pyrotechnics. Allow: 29 minutes
Les Chevaliers de la Table Ronde – Dive into the fantastic universe of the Arthurian legend! At the foot of the Font-Rognou ramparts, Merlin tests the courage of young Arthur. After having thwarted the spell of Excalibur, our hero discovers the wonders of the enchanted lake and the Lady of the Lake, and witnesses the surprising return of the Knights of the Round Table. Rediscover the famous legend and let yourself be carried away by this chivalrous ballet. Allow: 17 minutes

Les Noces de Feu – Witness the most romantic of weddings and wonder at the spectacular memories projected onto the lake as soon as it gets dark! Attend this fantastic wedding, where dancers and giant sets will rise from the depths of the lake, appearing like mirages, and come to life to make the young bride and groom’s dream come true and give them an unforgettable celebration. This show was awarded “Best Technological Innovation” in 2020. Allow: 30 minutes. Not available every night
La Cinescenie – Take your seat in the immense 13,000-seat panoramic grandstand and witness an unforgettable experience under the stars. “La Cinéscénie” is set on a 23-hectare stage in front of the Puy du Fou castle, featuring 2,500 actors and dancers. This performance retraces seven centuries of history, blending real events with French legends. Allow: 1.5 hours. Night show available Friday and Saturday nights in high season only – supplement applies.
IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES (WALK THROUGH):
Les Amoureux de Verdun – Venture into Puy du Fou’s century-old forest and arrive right in the middle of the First World War. You will be taken back in time to a real trench in the depths of winter; smoke fills the tunnels, the ground shakes with each new explosion, and the sirens wail. This immersive experience has won “Best World Creation” award. Allow: 15 minutes
Le Mystere de la Perouse – Become explorers for a day and take to the high seas for a legendary scientific expedition, under the command of King Louis XVI! Leave the port of Brest and set sail to brave the unknown waters. On board the ship, take part in the great discoveries, from Cape Horn to Alaska, all the way to Vanikoro… and endure the most challenging of storms! Allow: 20 minutes
Le Premier Royaume – In the fifth century, during the fall of the Roman Empire, ravaged by Attila the Hun’s hordes, visitors will follow Clovis, King of the Franks! You’ll experience his epic battle scenes, incredible encounters with creatures from Norse mythology, and an extraordinary voyage into the depths of the earth to the hall of the slain, Valhalla. La Renaissance de Chateau – Forgotten for centuries, the Puy du Fou Château is now opening its doors! The paintings talk to you, the mirrors watch you, the ghosts are still dancing, and the statues are waking up… Each room in the château reveals its wonders, still haunted by its glorious past. Explore the living splendors of the Renaissance! Allow: 30 minutes
