Day 1
Travel to your hotel
En-route to your hotel enjoy a stop at Dumfries the home of Robert Burns, Scotland’s national poet, before continuing onward to your hotel in the Stirling area, arriving with time to relax before dinner.
Day 2
Stirling and Bannockburn
In the morning, travel the short distance to Stirling for a visit to the Castle before continuing onto the Battle of Bannockburn Experience. This attraction has state of the art 3D technology and will bring you face-to-face with medieval battle in a way never experienced before. Explore the external battlefield landscape with the iconic bronze statue of King Robert the Bruce and listen to first-hand accounts of the battle from combatants and bystanders in the interactive 3D gallery. Return to your hotel for dinner.
Day 3
Dunfermline Abbey and Scone Palace
Today, travel east to Dunfermline Abbey and the burial place of Robert the Bruce and then onwards to Scone Palace, the crowning place of the Scottish Kings. Travel onto Perth for a free afternoon, before returning to your hotel with time to relax before dinner.
Day 4
Return home
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in your hotel before starting your journey home. A stop at the border town of Melrose with its magnificent Abbey, believed to be the final resting place of Robert the Bruce’s heart, will round off this unforgettable tour.
