York and Cambridge
Katharine and Charlotte from our UK team took a trip ‘up north’ to the beautiful medieval city of York, Durham, Newcastle, and the sunny setting of Scarborough. Interesting attractions included Beamish – The Living Museum of the North, where we explored the 1940s Farm and the 1900s town, including the bakery where we sampled some freshly made bread.
Your can discover Beamish for yourself with our Beamish at Christmas tour.
Martin Slater, our National Sales Manager, and Katharine also travelled to Cambridge for the CTA Conference and Workshop. Whilst in the area we were lucky enough to enjoy some lovely weather which made our guided tour around the National Stud in Newmarket, walking tour of Cambridge, and wander around IWM Duxford all the more enjoyable. We also visited the American Cemetery, an exquisitely kept site with a visitor centre detailing the critical campaign that contributed to the Allied victory in Europe.
We highly recommenced a visit to this stunning area of the country and your group can experience it in our Cambridge, Newmarket and Ely tour.
