Day 1
Travel to Bristol
Travel to your hotel with plenty of time to check into your bedroom and relax, then throw on your robe and slippers and head to the award-winning leisure and spa facilities on offer at the hotel (spa treatments to be pre-booked by individual guests). After dinner enjoy your complimentary pillow spray and eye-mask, and pillow menu to ensure a serene nights sleep.
Day 2
Bath Christmas Markets, Bristol Aerospace with Cream tea under Concorde
This morning we journey to Bath. Built for pleasure and relaxation, Bath has been a wellness destination since Roman times. The compact, visitor-friendly centre is overflowing with places to eat and drink and some of the finest independent shops in Britain. There is also time to enjoy the Christmas Markets.
Next we travel to Aerospace Bristol to discover Bristol’s aeronautical and space heritage, alongside stories of the human endeavour behind the technology. On arrival we enjoy a Cream Tea under the wings of Concorde, an iconic symbol of design and innovation. Admire the aircraft whilst enjoying homemade fruit scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, accompanied by English breakfast tea – a unique experience and great photo opportunity! Next explore the hangers at your leisure or take a heritage guided tour (supplement on request). Return to our hotel to relax before dinner.
Day 3
Bristol Christmas Markets, SS Great Britain
This morning we take a route through the Avon Gorge to see Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge and then on to another of his masterpieces, the SS Great Britain. Launched in Bristol in 1843, this was the world’s first ocean-going, propeller-driven, iron ship. The historic vessel is now conserved with the hull protected by a ‘glass sea’. Visitors can experience what life was like for the ship’s Victorian passengers and crew. We then travel into the city centre where there’s free time to explore the city centre, including the Christmas Markets, and Bristol’s famous Harbourside before returning to our hotel for dinner.

Return home
Last chance to enjoy the hotels leisure facilities and a leisurely breakfast before departing.

Located on a leafy business park outside Bristol, the Aztec Hotel is the perfect base for both relaxing and exploring. There are 128 bedrooms, all come a relaxing seating area, large TV, fluffy robes and slippers, pillow menu, pillow spray and mask, bedside radio, mini-fridge, coffee machine, chunky biscuits and wifi. Milk and fresh filtered water are available from machines located in the corridors. There is a lift to all floors and complimentary coach parking onsite. The award-winning leisure and spa facilities include a large swimming pool with relaxation beds surrounding it, sauna, steam room, spa pool, gym and treatment rooms (spa treatments are available for guests to pre-book individually). Breakfast for groups is a buffet served in a private room and dinner is a 3 course, 3 choice plated menu in the main restaurant (pre-orders required). Porterage is included.
