Arrive during the afternoon and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure, we have lots of suggestions! Maybe an evening at the theatre or a dinner cruise on the Thames, or perhaps a group meal at a local restaurant. Please contact us for suggestions.

By Land and By Air

After breakfast, it’s off to the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden, home to a fantastic collection of trains, buses and everything ‘transport’. The Museum houses a large collection of buses, trams, trolleybuses, trains as well as taxis and motorcycles from the early days up to the most recent.

After lunch (available in the Covent Garden area at a supplement) drive to the Docklands and North Greenwich, where you will join the Thames Cable Car, London’s latest river crossing. This rises to a height of 90 metres, with stunning views over the Thames, The Royal Docks and East London. This round trip takes around 15 minutes. Return to your hotel via Greenwich, where we can also arrange a visit to the Cutty Sark (supplement on request), and there will be a chance to visit the National Maritime Museum and the Old Royal Naval College.

This evening is at your leisure, or alternatively we can arrange for dinner to be taken either in the hotel or at a nearby venue.

After breakfast, you may have chance to visit the Imperial War Museum, with its unique collection of military aircraft, tanks, and submarines, as well as telling the story of those who fought in the wars, through exhibitions and displays before returning home.
