Day 1
Depart the UK
Take the afternoon ferry crossing from Holyhead to Dublin, then a short drive to your hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2
Blarney Castle and Woollen Mills
Take a lunch stop at the world famous Blarney Woollen Mills, the largest Irish store in the World and after visit the medieval Blarney Castle with the curious Blarney Stone and beautiful gardens.
Day 3
Full Day in Cork
(Coach driver’s rest day)
Enjoy a guided tour through the ancient city of Cork. Afternoon free to visit the English Market, St Finbarrs Cathedral, University, City Goal and Elizabeth Fort. Tonight enjoy a visit to one the many Irish pubs with live traditional music.
Day 4
Titanic Trail and Jameson Whiskey
Cobh, formerly Queenstown, is most famous as the last port of call of the Titanic on its maiden voyage in 1912. Learn about the fascinating and varied history of Cobh on a guided walking tour before visiting the ‘Titanic Experience’ situated in the original offices of The White Star Line. Later in the afternoon, see where the world-famous Jameson Irish Whiskey is created and crafted at the Jameson Experience in Midleton.
Day 5
Killarney, Muckross House and Lake Cruise
Today, enjoy a day’s excursion to Killarney, visit Muckross House and take a Jaunting Car to Ross Castle for a leisurely lake cruise. Free time in Killarney town.
Day 6
Rock of Cashel and Newbridge Silver
We depart Cork for Dublin, with en-route visits to the historic town of Cashel famous for the ‘Rock’ before heading for Newbridge Silverware and its Museum of style Icons.
Day 7
Return to the UK
After an early breakfast, take the ferry and return home.
