The vibrant city of Galway is the capital of the West coast of Ireland. Connemara offers a scenic vista of valleys and lakes and a spectacular intricate coastline. The Cliffs of Moher are Ireland’s most visited attraction and highlights from the cruise include the large Sea Arch at Moher Tower, the Bhreannain Mor sea stack, close to O’Brien’s tower and the giant sea-cave made famous in the Harry Potter movie.

Day 1
Depart the UK
Take the afternoon ferry crossing from Holyhead to Dublin, then a short drive to your hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2
Free Day in Dublin
(Coach driver’s rest day)
Take a 20 minute tram into Dublin, use your sightseeing bus tour ticket to enjoy the highlights of Dublin, optional visit to the Guinness Storehouse or Jameson Whiskey.
Day 3
Galway
Morning departure from Dublin, we have the afternoon in Galway city famous for its food and music, our walking tour will show you the highlights.
Day 4
Connemara and Kylemore Abbey
Explore the beautiful Connemara region, admiring the wonderful views of the bogland and magical mountains. See Ross Abbey and the picturesque Cong village and visit the impressive Kylemore Abbey and Gardens, the monastic home of the Irish Benedictine nuns (optional Killary Fjord cruise).
Day 5
Cliffs of Moher and the Burren
Today, visit the 200-metre high, 8km-long Cliffs of Moher, take the ‘Under’ tour, a one-hour boat where you look up at the stunning natural beauty of the cliffs which were formed 300 million years ago. Then take the ‘Over’ tour that includes entrance to the visitor centre and a walk along the cliff tops, afternoon return via the Burren National Park.
Day 6
Athlone and Lake Cruise
Morning visit to Athlone, where we enjoy a cruise on Lough Ree before we continue our journey to Dublin.
Day 7
Return to the UK
After an early breakfast, take the ferry and return home.
