Day 1

Hampton Court Palace and Gardens

Travel to London and meet your guide at this most regal of locations and famously once home to flamboyant King Henry VIII. Costumed tour guides will be on hand to assist as you discover the Palace’s highlights including England’s largest Tudor kitchens, oldest hedge maze and the sumptuously decorated Great Hall. Afterwards, head to Central London to check into your hotel and have the evening at your leisure.

Day 2

Kensington Palace and Banqueting House

Enjoy breakfast before meeting your Blue Badge guide who will accompany you to Kensington Palace, the favourite residence of successive sovereigns until 1760 and birthplace of Queen Victoria. Choose one of four routes through the Palace and enjoy cutting-edge royal exhibitions focusing on the famous former residents. In the afternoon you’ll be heading to the Banqueting House in Whitehall – originally built for state occasions, plays and masques, but also the site of King Charles I execution in 1649.

Day 3

Tower of London

After breakfast, make your way to the Tower of London to learn of the grim history of this 950-year-old fortress. You can explore the Tower at your leisure but don’t miss the Crown Jewels, which include some of the most extraordinary diamonds in the world. You’ll also see the famous Ravens and of course, the Yeoman Warders, who offer free tours every 30 minutes.
