48 Hours in London
Gina, our B2B Sales Account Manager, and Chantelle from our Incoming Department recently had the opportunity to take a trip to London with our UK Manager, Mark, to visit a selection of hotels and also to experience the Showboat Dinner Cruise and a visit to Royal Greenwich. Hotels on the list included the Imperial London Hotel Group, Copthorne Tara & Millenium Hotels in Kensington, Kingsway Hall and the Melia White House amongst others. Greatdays work with these hotels for many of our featured tours which you can find on our website, some with very special promotions.
The Showboat Dinner Cruise is a firm favourite with many Greatdays clients and, once again, the food and entertainment did not disappoint. Our Showboat Christmas Party package is definitely one to consider. Fortunately, the weather was very kind and the views of the London skyline at night were quite spectacular.
A visit to Royal Greenwich on the Thames Clipper proved to be a highlight of the trip and although there was insufficient time to make internal visits of the various museums, it was clear that this part of London should be on everyone’s itinerary. In fact, one of the museums was having a ‘facelift’ to look like the exterior of Buckingham Palace for some filming of the Netflix series ‘The Crown’. We took a look around the famous Cutty Sark, saw the Observatory (albeit covered in scaffolding) and even managed a walk through Greenwich Market with its artisan crafts and food stalls.
A busy but enjoyable and educational couple of days!
