Alexandra rediscovers Paris

Alexandra Fletcher, European Travel Consultant, recently visited both Disneyland® Paris and Paris to see some hotels and experience the Disney magic. Flying into Charles de Gaulle, she took the TGV out to Marne La Vallee-Chessy, in the heart of the Disneyland® area.  The Explorers Hotel, a free short shuttle ride away from the Parks, provided an excellent overnight stay with the excitement still to come. The next day was spent in the Parks with a 1-day-hopper-pass. Experiencing the thrills of the big rides, the beauty of Sleeping Beauty’s castle and the amazing atmosphere was something that will not be forgotten!

Taking the RER into Paris, an easy journey of around 40 minutes, she then visited a selection of hotels we recommend for our groups. Being the Top User of the Leisure Online for AccorHotels meant that this trip focussed on the hotels that we can book online and she was very pleased with all the hotels seen. The final day was spent having a guided tour of Paris and seeing the major sights as well as the beautiful hidden areas of the Latin Quarter and the fantastic Christmas Markets spreading from Place de la Concorde to halfway down the Champs Élysées towards the Arc de Triomph. Despite recent events, the hotels are ready and waiting to welcome groups and the atmosphere is Paris is one of rejuvenation and moving forward.
