All the Tea in China

Marina and Katharine from the UK department were guests of World of Wedgwood in Stoke-on-Trent. We were treated to a guided tour of the museum where we heard the history behind the world famous Jasper Ware and learnt some interesting facts…did you know Josiah Wedgwood was the grandfather of Charles Darwin?

After this we had a tour of the factory and met some of the skilled craftsmen working there, after which there was time to throw a pot or paint a plate. To top off a delightful day we were treated to a delicious afternoon tea in the Wedgwood Tea Room using beautiful Wedgwood china. We highly recommend this attraction to our groups – watch this space for a new tour!
