Charming Cornwall
Katharine from U.K. Product and Charlotte from U.K. Operations took a week out of the office to explore Cornwall and its many hotels and attractions. Some of our favourite attractions included Lands End, Barbara Hepworth Gallery and Pendennis castle where we learnt about Falmouth’s important strategic position in defending the country from to Tudor times through to World War I. We visited some beautiful gardens including Trebah, Trellisick, Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden project. Other highlights included spending time in St Ives and discovering the history of the Tolgus Tin Mill at Cornwall Gold. Overall we were thoroughly impressed by the warm welcome we received and the stunning scenery everywhere we looked. A busy but thoroughly enjoyable week.
