Get a Load of Leicestershire!

This week Katharine & Charlotte from the UK team and Claire from Sales took a trip to Melton Mowbray and Leicester. The trip was hosted by Leicestershire Promotions, with whom Greatdays have partnered with to promote their tourism offer to UK group travel organisers and coach tour operators. After a relaxing night at Jury’s Inn Hinkley Island we embarked on a jam packed day in Melton which included a Pie Making Demonstration at Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe and Cheese Tasting at The Melton Cheeseboard. Yum! We were treated to a delicious dinner at Hilton Leicester then stayed at the Marriot Leicester, a great hotel for groups for accommodation and lunch stops. The next day we became engrossed in the history and discovery of Richard III at KRIII Visitors Centre, Leicester Cathedral and Bosworth Battlefield. A stellar trip to the National Space Centre made this trip truly out of this world!
