Kynren – An Epic Tale of England! Press Launch

Claire and Gina from Sales and Katharine and Sarah from the UK team were lucky enough to be invited to the press launch of Kynren at the weekend. This open air spectacle, re-enacting 2000 years of British history, must be seen to be believed. 1,476 volunteers from the area participate as cast and crew to create scenes featuring Boudicca, Field of the Cloth of Gold, Shakespeare’s England, The Industrial Revolution, WWII and many more, all set against the stunning backdrop of Auckland Castle. We don’t want to give too much away, but expect jousting, fighting, dancing, flames, galloping horses, poignant light displays, fireworks…and a Viking ship which rises from the lake! We wrapped up warm and spent a night immersed in the magic of Kynren. Highly recommended!
