Showcasing the South West
Last week Katharine from our UK department and Gina from Sales embarked upon a whistle-stop tour of the South West. Katharine visited the iconic Stonehenge on the way to Showcase South West, and enjoyed a familiarization trip around Bristol, including the newly opened Bristol Aerospace, SS Great Britain, John Wesley’s Chapel, ending with a much needed mulled wine at the bustling Christmas Markets. Joined by Gina, they then called into one of our preferred partner hotels, Mercure Bristol North Grange Hotel, before visiting the lovely Swan Hotel which boasts some seriously impressive views of the stunning Wellls Abbey. Longleat Festival of Lights then followed, after being dazzled by the fairytale themed lanterns they called into the house to warm up and interact with the staff dressed in full Edwardian finery. To finish the trip they travelled to Somerset to partake in Dunster by Candlelight, which is a riot of street entertainment including choirs, stilt walkers, brass-bands, lantern processions, and food and gift stalls…all set to a twinkling backdrop of candles.
