Two Go To Lancashire

Gina Halden, Accounts Manager (B2B) and Jenny Kirkwood, Day Trips Manager, enjoyed a recent familiarisation trip to Lancashire hosted by Steve Reed Tourism.  They joined a group of coach tours operators and group travel organisers for a fun-packed 2 day visit of a host of attractions throughout Lancashire.  These included Blackburn Cathedral and Market with a guided tour of Blackburn by Top Hat Tours followed by a visit, demonstration and tasting to the Chocolate House (yummy). A visit was also made of Samlesbury Hall and Hoghton Tower, two really beautiful historic houses.  Refreshments included fish and chips at the famous Olympus Fish & Chip Restaurant in Bolton and an exquisite cream tea on board a canal boat whilst cruising along the Leeds/Liverpool Canal, which was a fitting end to a very interesting and informative trip.  Lancashire has a great deal to offer as both a Day Trip and Touring destination so look out for our future promotions incorporating some of the highlights of this trip.
