Wonderful Wicklow, Wexford & Waterford
Sarah and Katharine from the UK & Ireland Operations team enjoyed a lovely trip to Wicklow, Wexford and Waterford. We saw many attractions including the great gardens of Powerscourt, Kilruddery, Mount Usher, and Mount Congreve. Other highlights included Glendalough, New Ros Tapestry and the Avoca Hand Weavers. We also climbed aboard the Dunbrody Famine Ship which recreates the harrowing lives and conditions of many Irish immigrants crossing to America. Waterford is home to the Viking Triangle and its interesting museums. Guests visiting the city can also enjoy a tour of world famous Waterford Crystal and a walking tour of the city with Jack Burtchaell. The hotels in the area are extremely comfortable hospitable and we recommend a trip to this region to our groups.
