Here’s a tour that will surely have you licking your lips in anticipation. We visit the Wensleydale Creamery, deep in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, we go behind the scenes at the Black Sheep Brewery in Masham, and we discover York’s chocolate-making history at York’s Chocolate Story.

Day 2
Black Sheep Brewery, Hawes and Wensleydale Creamery
This morning we travel to the North Yorkshire market town of Masham for a ‘shepherded’ tour of the famous Black Sheep Brewery and sample some of the products in the ‘baa…r’. There’s also the Sheepy shop, full of ‘ewe-nique’ gifts. Next we travel through the magnificent scenery of the Yorkshire Dales to Hawes and the Wensleydale Creamery. We go back in time with a tour of the original farmhouse dairy to learn about the cheese-making process and the chance to watch the skilled craftsmen in the cheese rooms. Afterwards there’s free time to explore the village.
Day 3
York and York’s Chocolate Story
York’s great chocolate making families of Rowntree’s and Terry’s have played a major part in the history of the city. Today we find out more with a visit to York’s Chocolate Story, a city centre attraction that follows the chocolate-making process and reveals the secrets of popular brands including Kit-Kat, Aero and Terry’s Chocolate Orange. After tasting some chocolate the day is free to explore the historic city, its quaint cobbled streets and the magnificent York Minster.
