Take the Waters in Buxton – Luxury Spa Break for Groups
Take this unique opportunity to stay at a truly luxurious and historic spa hotel.
Built in 1780 and designed as the centrepiece of the 5th Duke of Devonshire’s plans to establish a fashionable Georgian spa town, the Grade 1 listed Buxton Crescent Spa Hotel is one of the most architecturally significant buildings in the UK.
The £78m complete restoration of the magnificent building was completed in 2020. Combining modern comforts with gracious hospitality, the hotel offers a range sumptuous, tastefully furnished bedrooms, and a hotel restaurant serving elegant and classic British cuisine.
The hotel’s world-class spa provides a calm & tranquil atmosphere, promising to restore and protect guests. The famous waters of Buxton can be experienced in the indoor spring fed thermal pool. There are two additional pools, one being a rooftop heated indoor-outdoor pool, and various steam and sauna experiences to enjoy. Guests can enjoy unlimited access to the spa during their stay, within the spa’s opening hours. Complimentary robes and slippers are provided in the room for guests to wear in the spa.
During your stay there is the opportunity to explore the spa town of Buxton, including a possible visit to Buxton Opera House to enjoy a backstage tour. Other possible excursions include a visit to The Buxton Crescent Experience, or a guided walking tour.
