Now, thanks to a multi-million pound regeneration of the sea front, the town has a modern, contemporary feel that’s attracting many first-time visitors. This tour includes plenty of free time in the town, and adds in visits to Lytham St Anne’s, Fleetwood Market, and a relaxing canal cruise through the Lancashire countryside.

Day 2
A free day to explore Blackpool
Head to the top of Blackpool Tower for stunning panoramic views and the famous ‘look down’ through the reinforced glass floor. The Tower is also home to Blackpool Tower Circus and the famous Tower Ballroom and its popular afternoon tea dances. The Pleasure Beach offers 125 different theme park rides, attractions and shows. Explore the famous piers, take a walk along the Promenade and sandy beaches, or get away from it all in Stanley Park.
Day 3
Lytham St Annes, canal cruise and afternoon tea
Just along the coast is Lytham St Annes, home to a fine promenade, a lovely sandy beach, beautiful gardens, old half-timbered buildings, quaint shops and the famous Lytham Green and Windmill. In the afternoon we take a relaxing cruise, with afternoon tea, along the picturesque Lancaster Canal to Garstang.
Day 4
Tram to Fleetwood Market
This morning we take a tram to visit Fleetwood Market, a traditional market with more than 150 indoor and outdoor stalls. Returning to Blackpool there’s free time in the afternoon for more exploring.
