Day 1
Depart the UK
Take the afternoon ferry crossing from Holyhead to Dublin, then a short drive to your hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2
Blarney Castle and Woollen Mills
Take a lunch stop at the world famous Blarney Woollen Mills, the largest Irish store in the World and after we visit to the medieval Blarney Castle with the curious Blarney Stone and beautiful gardens.
Day 3
Kinsale and Harbour Cruise
Kinsale is the gourmet capital of Ireland, famous for its scenic harbour and narrow streets with colourful shops. Here we have free time, walking tour, visit the Old Court House Museum, optional fish crumble pie lunch, enjoy a harbour cruise and visit the imposing 17th century star-shaped Charles Fort overlooking Kinsale Bay and town.
Day 4
Garnish Island and Bantry House
A must-see is Garnish Island (or Illnacullin) – a small island garden located in the sheltered harbour of Glengarriff in Bantry Bay, known to horticulturists and lovers of trees and shrubs around the world. Afternoon visit to Bantry House and Gardens, one of Ireland’s hidden gems, with stunning views over Bantry Bay.
Day 5
Cork City Tour
Today, head to Cork City for a city tour, see the English Market, the Huguenot Quarter and St. Finbarr’s Cathedral. After lunch, we make our way to Dublin for our final night.
Day 6
Return to the UK
After an early breakfast, take the ferry and return home.
