For a taste of Ireland, this is the perfect Dublin group tour. Ireland’s vibrant capital, Dublin, is a city steeped in history. The city’s many sites include two majestic cathedrals, the oldest university in Ireland, the iconic Ha’penny Bridge and a fascinating castle. In this tour you will enjoy the delights of Dublin including the Guinness storehouse, Teeling’s whiskey distillery, a river cruise along the River Liffey, which runs through the City Centre, and a fabulous Irish night. You can also add an optional day excursion to neighbouring County Wicklow, known as the ‘Garden of Ireland’.

Day 1
Depart the UK
Travel to Dublin by coach and ferry or fly from your local airport. Arrive and check into your hotel.
Day 2
City Tour, Teeling’s Whiskey Distillery and Liffey Cruise
A guided tour of this historic city is a must, so enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour with a local guide, taking in the city’s highlights, including Trinity College, St. Stephens Green, Grafton Street, and Temple Bar. Then visit Dublin’s newest working distillery, Teelings. Enjoy this visitor experience as you take a tour around the distillery whilst learning all the fascinating facts about one of Irelands newest and most innovative whiskeys. And of course, no visit would be complete without a complementary tasting which consists of a Whiskey cocktail. Afterwards, take a journey through the heart of Dublin on a cruise on the river Liffey, passing some of the city’s most historic sites.
Day 3
Optional Excursion to County Wicklow
Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city for an excursion into beautiful County Wicklow. See Glendalough, a glacial valley famous for its 6th century monastic settlement and start of the ‘Valley of the Two Lakes’, pass the Wicklow Gap and enjoy stunning scenic views of Wicklow’s countryside and the two Blessington Lakes. You may also wish to visit the beautiful Powerscourt estate and gardens, which is proudly one of the most beautiful estates in Ireland. The stunning gardens include Japanese gardens, a dolphin pond, stunning rose beds and herbaceous borders (supplement applies).
Day 4
Guinness Storehouse and Traditional Irish night
Visit the Guinness Storehouse. Learn everything you ever wanted to know about this world famous beer then enjoy a complimentary pint of Guinness® while you take in the breathtaking 360-degree views across Dublin City. Afterwards enjoy some time at leisure to explore the city. In the evening, experience the ‘craic’ at a traditional Irish night. Enjoy a traditional Irish dinner, followed by fast paced traditional songs, music and Irish dancing.

Return home

The Royal Hotel, Bray ***
