There’s a reason why Dunoon, Inveraray and this part of Scotland remains so popular with holidaymakers. The scenery is some of the best anywhere in the country. Our tour includes a cruise on Loch Lomond and visits to Benmore Botanic Garden, and the Isle of Bute.

Day 1
Travel to Gourock and Dunoon
We travel to Gourock to take the ferry across to Dunoon, one of the Firth of Clyde’s foremost resorts, and famous for its large Victorian pier and attractive promenade.
Day 2
Inveraray Castle and Loch Lomond
This morning we take the scenic road to Loch Fyne and Inverary. We visit the imposing Inveraray Castle, followed by the 19th century Inveraray Jail, one of the finest and best-preserved jail and courtroom complexes in the world. Costumed characters bring the past to life in this unique living museum. In the afternoon we travel to Tarbet for a relaxing cruise along beautiful Loch Lomond to Luss.
Day 3
Isle of Bute and Mount Stuart
Today we take the very short ferry crossing to the Isle of Bute to visit Mount Stuart. We enjoy a private tour of the 19th century country manor house, one of Scotland’s most spectacular Victorian Gothic mansions. After the tour there’s free time to explore some of the 300 acres of gloriously maintained grounds and gardens before we retrace our route back to Dunoon.
Day 4
Benmore Botanic Garden and free time in Dunoon
A short drive today to visit Benmore Botanic Garden, an enchanting garden steeped in history and located in a magnificent mountainside setting. We return to Dunoon for a free afternoon to relax or pick up some souvenirs of your visit.
