Suggested itinerary by coach

Day 1

Depart the UK

Take the afternoon ferry crossing from Holyhead to Dublin, then a short drive to your hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2

Bunratty Castle and Folk Park

Leave Dublin and head west to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, a 15th century castle and a 26-acre park featuring more than 30 buildings in a ‘living’ village and rural setting where 19th century Irish life is brought to life. Arrive at our Shannon hotel for a 3 night stay.

Day 3

Cliffs of Moher and Burren Tour

The Cliffs of Moher is one of Ireland’s most visited natural attractions. Standing more than 700 feet at their highest point, they stretch for five miles along the Atlantic coast. Our journey then takes us along the coast road through the ‘moonscape’ of the Burren and past Dunquaire Castle.

Day 4

Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum and Adare Village

This morning, we take the ferry across the Shannon Estuary to visit the Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum, the only dedicated flying boat museum in the world where there’s an opportunity to step on board a full-size replica flying boat and discover the origins of the world’s first ever Irish Coffee. We continue on to the quaint village of Adare to enjoy the thatched roof cottages on the main street.

Day 5

Dublin

Morning departure, we return to Dublin and enjoy a two-hour sightseeing tour and free time. Overnight in our hotel located in Dublin or outskirts.

Day 6

Return to the UK

After an early breakfast, take the morning ferry and return home.
