Discover the great cities of Amsterdam and Antwerp on this cruise. Springtime in Holland is a colourful affair with an abundance of bulbs flowering. In addition to cruising leisurely through the remarkable scenery of the Benelux, spend a day at Keukenhof Gardens. This impressive landscaping masterpiece is a rainbow of flowers each spring. With different themes each year, the garden is a beautiful excursion with millions of tulips, hyacinths and daffodils (among others) on display. Explore the charming capital city of Holland, Amsterdam, with its picturesque canals, museums, galleries and breweries to discover together with the beautiful cosmopolitan city of Antwerp.

Suggested Itinerary
Day 1
Travel to Antwerp
Take the ferry from Dover to Calais and continue to Antwerp to arrive in time for embarkation at 18.00 hours. After settling into your cabin, there will be a welcome cocktail and reception before dinner and an evening at leisure.
Day 2
Antwerp – Rotterdam (or nearby port)
This morning, discover the old city of Antwerp which is Belgium’s second city. Explore the old town and the beautiful gabled buildings around the cobbled Grote Markt square, see the imposing Cathedral of Our Lady and the magnificent Central Railway Station likened to the interior of a cathedral. The on-board hostess will accompany you on this visit.
Back on board ship, we will cruise along the Scheldt and cross small inland seas and immense locks towards Rotterdam. Tonight is our Gala Dinner and evening on board.
Day 3
Rotterdam (or nearby port) – Keukenhof – Amsterdam (or nearby port)
This morning, join us on an included excursion to the famous Keukenhof Gardens. With over 50 years of displaying its floral art with a different theme every year, Keukenhof has developed into a showcase for the Spring flower bulb and ornamental plant industry. A few hours will be spent here walking among the many gardens and indoor displays or maybe make some spring bulb purchases from the on-site shop before before returning to the ship.
This afternoon will be spent cruising towards Amsterdam with the opportunity to relax and enjoy the onboard facilities and watch the scenery unfold as you sail along.
Dinner and evening at leisure on board.
Day 4
Amsterdam (or nearby port)
This morning there will be an optional sightseeing tour of Amsterdam by canal boat. Discover the city’s fabulous architecture and gabled houses as you sail along 4 of the major canals that encircle the centre of Amsterdam.
Return to the ship for lunch.
Alternatively, there is an optional afternoon excursion to Volendam, a charming fishing village, a cheese factory to discover how the famous Gouda Cheese is made and Zaanse Schans, an open air museum with working windmills and a clog making museum.
Return to the ship for dinner on board with the rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 5
Return to the UK
After breakfast, disembark the ship at 9am and return to Calais for the ferry across to the UK.

Amsterdam
Amsterdam is a fascinating city. Discover the many treasures houses in the city’s museums and art galleries or cycle through the pretty parks, just like a local. From Anne Frank’s House to the Heineken experience, there’s something to suit every interest. Why not add a night or two in Amsterdam to discover the Dutch capital?
Antwerp, Ghent or Bruges
Why not spend some time exploring more of Belgium. Whether you choose to spend more time in the cosmopolitan city of Antwerp or head to Ghent or Bruges to explore these picturesque medieval towns, adding an extra night or two in Belgium is an excellent idea.

Cabin information/facilities
All cabins are located above the water level and offer panoramic views of the landscape. They are equipped with private toilet, shower, washbasin and towels. Cabins are comfortable and include Satellite TV, hairdryer, safe and storage space. Depending on the boat, cabins have twin beds, a large bed or 2 separable beds. Voltage on board in 220V. All cabins are air conditioned and have independent thermostat controlled heating and air conditioning. The size and configuration of cabins vary from boat to boat. Some boats have cabins which are specifically equipped for people with reduced mobility (please ask for further details). There is free Wi-Fi throughout the ship.
- A non-refundable deposit will be due upon confirmation with staged payments prior to departure. Further details upon request.
- This cruise may operate in reverse on selected dates and the itinerary will be adjusted accordingly.
- Keukenhof Gardens are usually open from mid-March – mid-May (2026 and 2027 dates to be confirmed).
- The ports of Amsterdam and Rotterdam may unexpectedly decide to change the mooring places and alternatives will be set up as close as possible to these cities.
