Day 1
Travel to Ireland
Take the afternoon ferry crossing from Holyhead to Dublin, then a short drive to your hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2
Dublin and The Guinness Storehouse
Morning guided tour of Dublin with an afternoon visit to The Guinness Storehouse.
Day 3
The ‘Garden of Ireland’ and Powerscourt Gardens
Explore beautiful County Wicklow, and enjoy stunning scenic views of Wicklow’s countryside including the two Blessington Lakes and Glendalough. Visit Powerscourt House & Gardens, one of the most beautiful estates in Ireland. Overnight in Waterford.
Day 4
Waterford City and Waterford Crystal
(Coach driver’s rest day)
Enjoy a guided walking tour of Ireland’s oldest city and visit the House of Waterford Crystal for a guided factory tour. Free time to visit the heritage quarter and its museums. Overnight Waterford.
Day 5
Cobh and the Titanic Trail
Cobh, formerly Queenstown, is most famous as the last port of call of the Titanic on its maiden voyage in 1912. Learn about the fascinating and varied history of Cobh and the harbour on a guided walking tour before visiting the ‘Titanic Experience’, situated in the original offices of The White Star Line.
Day 6
Killarney, Jaunting Car Trip and Muckross House

Enjoy a morning at leisure in Killarney. In the afternoon, we take a jaunting car to Muckross House & Gardens known as the Jewel of the National Park. Overnight in Killarney.
Day 7
Ring of Kerry
Full day excursion around the famous ‘Ring of Kerry’ with a local guide. Travel via Killorglin, with en-route visit to the Skellig Heritage Centre and Derrynane House, finishing at the colourful fishing town of Kenmare. Overnight in Killarney.
Day 8
Cliffs of Moher and Burren Tour
Take the ferry across the Shannon to visit The Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most visited natural attractions. Standing more than 700 feet at their highest point, they stretch for five miles along the Atlantic coast. Our journey then takes us along the coast road through the ‘moonscape’ of the Burren and past Dunquaire Castle. Overnight in Galway.
Day 9
Day in Galway
(Coach driver’s rest day)
Walking tour of Galway, see the main street of colourfully painted buildings and the medieval arch looking out across the Atlantic, afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Galway.
Day 10
Full Day Connemara and Kylemore Abbey
Explore the beautiful Connemara region, admiring the wonderful views of the bogland and magical mountains. See Ross Abbey and the picturesque Cong village and visit the impressive Kylemore Abbey and Gardens, the monastic home of the Irish Benedictine nuns (optional Killary Fjord cruise) Overnight in Galway.
Day 11
Athlone and Lake Cruise.
Morning visit to Athlone where we enjoy a cruise on Lough Ree known as
the ‘Lake of Kings’. We continue our journey with an optional stop at Tullamore Whiskey Distillery. Overnight in Dublin.
Day 12
Return to the UK
After an early breakfast, take the morning ferry and return home.
