London’s Greatest Gardens – GROUP TOUR
On this tour, we take you to three of London’s greatest gardens, combining floral spectacle, architectural magnificence and historical adventure. Join us as we visit Kew Gardens, Hampton Court Palace & Gardens and RHS Wisley.
All three gardens are not too far away from each other, which means that these can easily be combined into a weekend of exploration.
The three gardens are open all year round, though we would suggest dates between April and October would be best suited to appreciate the gardens in all their glory.

Day 1
Hampton Court Palace & Gardens
Travel to London and start your visit at one of the best known gardens in the world: Hampton Court Palace & Gardens, the former home of flamboyant King Henry VIII. Discover Henry’s enormous Tudor kitchens, get lost (and hopefully found) in the world’s oldest puzzle maze and great vine (submitted to the Guinness World Record Book in 2005), and learn all about your surroundings from the costumed tour guides. Hampton Court Palace is also home to a huge variety of wildlife, including the descendants of Henry VIII’s deer herd.
Day 2
Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew and guided tour
After breakfast, it’s off to Kew Gardens for a full day to explore this world famous attraction. With more than 130 hectares of landscapes and gardens, tropical glasshouses, giant water lily pools, a treetop walkway and lake, it’s no wonder that Kew is a firm favourite with groups of all ages. When it’s time for lunch, there’s a choice of four cafes and restaurants. During your visit you’ll be taken on a 60-minute guided tour of the gardens by one of Kew’s friendly and knowledgeable guides, or as an alternative we can arrange for tickets on Kew’s own land train. This vehicle operates a hop-on hop-off circuit of the gardens (full circuit takes about an hour) and there is also a commentary.
Should you wish, we can also arrange prepaid vouchers for lunch, snacks etc which you can use in one of the onsite restaurants and coffee shops.
Day 3
RHS Wisley and guided tour
Royal Horticultural Society Wisley is generally regarded as the jewel in the crown of the many RHS gardens around the UK and undoubtedly one of the finest gardens in the world. There are more than 200 acres of gardens offering exquisite examples of innovative design and cultivation techniques. Your visit includes a 60-minute tour, giving you time to learn all about the history of the RHS and Wisley and explore the impressive glasshouse and exotic plants. It’s a fitting end to three days of gardening excellence.
