This winter open a selection box of delights with our new tour featuring the famous Manchester Christmas Markets, Christmas Cruise with 3-course lunch, private guided tour of Castlefield Viaduct, and a visit to Tatton Hall mansion specially decorated for the festive season.

Manchester Christmas Markets*
Spend the day surrounded by the hustle and bustle of one of Europe’s premier Christmas markets. Your senses will be truly overwhelmed with the delicious smells, twinkling lights, and sounds of Christmas festivities. After time spent outside exploring we will return to our hotel for a warming festive meal.
Monday
Guided tour of Castlefield Viaduct and Christmas Lunch Cruise
After breakfast we begin our day at Castlefield Viaduct*. Built in 1892, the Viaduct is a core part of Manchester’s Industrial heritage. After years of standing empty it has recently been transformed by the National Trust into a ‘garden in the sky’- an accessible green space within the city. Our visit takes place on Monday morning before the doors open to the public, where we enjoy a private guided tour exploring the trees, flowers and shrubs on display, followed by tea, coffee and biscuits.
Next we head under the viaduct to join our Christmas Lunch Cruise. We take to the canals and rivers of Manchester on our private, fully licensed and centrally heated passenger boats. During our 3 hour cruise we enjoy a 3 course festive lunch accompanied by commentary and background music. Return to our hotel for dinner.

Tatton Hall Christmas Mansion and Gardens
Travel to Tatton Hall for a spectacular festive event. The mansion is dressed in sensational sets, illuminated floral decorations, enchanting music, and characters from bygone Christmas times. 2023’s theme is Alice in Wonderland, 2024 theme to be confirmed. Our tickets also include entrance to the mansion gardens.

This modern and welcoming hotel is located right next to the tram stop and overlooking Lancashire Cricket Club. Free coach parking is available. After major renovations, there are 250 rooms some in the modern new annex alongside the new hotel restaurant ‘The Edge’. The majority of which have walk-in showers. Fridges are available in all bedrooms. There is a lift to all floors.

Due to capacity restrictions at Castlefield Viaduct and City Centre Cruises this tour has a maximum capacity of 50 attendees.
*Christmas markets are subject to scheduling changes and can not be guaranteed to run. If the markets do not run we will suggest a new itinerary which my be subject to supplements.
