Matlock Illuminations features a unique parade of illuminated and decorated boats on the River Derwent every weekend throughout September and October. Each boat carries a decorated model and as darkness falls the boats disappear into the blackness below, leaving the models apparently gliding along just above the water.

Day 1
Travel to your hotel
Arrive at your hotel in time to relax before dinner.
Day 2
Matlock Illuminations
Spend a day at leisure to explore Derbyshire and its many attractions such as Chatsworth House or the Crich Tramway Village.
In the evening, make your way to Matlock for their annual illuminated display.
Day 3
Travel home
After breakfast, begin your journey home. Perhaps call into the pretty Peak District towns of Buxton or Bakewell.

All prices are per person based on sharing a double or twin room and with one free place for a coach driver or group organiser in a single room, both are based on a minimum 20 full fare paying passengers.
