Oktoberfest on the Barcelona Coast – NEW for 2025!
Looking for something a little different this Autumn? How about combining the colourful celebrations and entertainment of Oktoberfest, not in Germany, but with the welcoming warmth of the seaside resort of Calella on the beautiful Costa de Barcelona. This unique mixture of traditions, fun and festivities under the Spanish sun is certain to provide many happy memories.
The old city of Calella with its established reputation for fine hospitality, history and cultural diversity makes a great base for our tour. For almost two weeks in October, the town plays host to more than 3,000 musicians and 50,000 people celebrating traditional Bavarian music and sampling typical Bavarian beer and cuisine. Oktoberfest Calella runs daily from 10th to 19th October 2025 and it is free to enter.
Whether you are looking for a tour to add extra spice to your 2025 programme (or think about it for 2026) or know of local private groups/Brass Band Clubs who might like some late Spanish sunshine and the chance to perform for free, this could be just the ticket. Participants can also enter a free competition which is held over 2 days on 12 and 13 October 2025 – more details on request.
There is also the opportunity to explore more of the region on the suggested excursions which are detailed in the itinerary below.
