Looking to squeeze a few bowling sessions in before the season starts next Spring? Then why not escape the harsh UK winters and head to Paphos, in the heart of the Mediterranean, for a winter sun break offering world class bowling facilities.

Home to the 2015 Atlantic Bowling Championships, the 4 star Athena Beach Hotel in Paphos, Cyprus, part of the Constantinou Bro Hotels, is offering special promotional rates for bowling groups over the Winter season. With recently expanded facilities, making them the largest and most impressive in Europe outside of the United Kingdom, there are 18 full size rinks overlooking the seafront and an additional 12 indoor short mat rinks between the Athena Beach Hotel and the Athena Royal Beach Hotel, as well as a new 4-rink green at the Pioneer Beach Hotel.

But bowling is not the only thing on offer! For those not taking part in the competitions, the hotel boasts excellent leisure facilities, bars, and restaurants, whereas the warm winter climate and the charming local culture lead many to head off sightseeing and exploring the island of Cyprus.

Board your flight from your UK Airport and fly direct to Paphos or Larnaca Airport. Board your private coach transfer to the Athena Beach Hotel, your destination for the next 7 nights.

Have Fun Bowling

Make the most of the fantastic bowling facilities on offer at the hotels as with 5 bowling sessions included in your package, you’ll be able to spend your days competing against your friends. What’s more, you can also benefit from the assistance of the two on-site English-speaking bowls coordinators.

After a morning on the green, you can enjoy an afternoon dip in the pool, a drink at the bar or try your hand at one of the other games available. In the evening, after a buffet dinner, you can enjoy the entertainment provided in the hotel.

Your break does not all have to be centred on bowling – why not head out and explore the magical island of Cyprus? The shops, bars and beaches of Paphos are just a short walk from the Athena Beach Hotel.

However, Paphos also boasts a fascinating and varied history spanning centuries, whereas a short drive over the island leads you to many more historical sites to discover and charming towns to visit.

Depart Cyprus and Return to the UK

After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and bid farewell to Cyprus as you board your private coach transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.

This 4 star hotel is an elegant and luxurious hotel set in spacious and well tended gardens, ideally located on a wide sandy beach in the middle of the Mediterranean, just 1.5km from Paphos town and Paphos Airport. The 327 standard rooms at the hotel feature a flat-screen TV, air conditioning/heating, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, iron, safe, telephone and minibar (on request). The bathrooms feature a bathtub, rain shower, hair dryer, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers.
