Travel to your hotel & Brigg Garden Centre

On our way to the hotel we call into Brigg Garden Centre, a destination garden centre and one of the largest in the UK. On arrival at the hotel we will check in and enjoy a plated, choice dinner in the Touchdown Bar and Grill.

Hull and ‘Italian Night’

With beautiful buildings, bustling shops, and a rich maritime heritage, Yorkshire’s only waterfront city is a hidden treasure. In the morning we have a walking tour of the Hull, and find out why is has earnt the name ‘Hullywood’ from locals. We finish in the Museum Quarter where the afternoon is free to explore the Streetlife Museum and Wilberforce House…and perhaps discover the array of traditional pubs which line the cobbled streets of the Old Town.

We return to our hotel for ‘Italian Night’. We enjoy a drinks reception including one glass of wine per person, followed by a pasta and pizza buffet in the hotel’s dining nook, a great sociable area.

International Bomber Command Centre & Lincoln

This morning we visit the International Bomber Command Centre, a world-class facility acknowledging the efforts, sacrifices and commitments of the men and women who came together in Bomber Command during WWII. Enjoy a guided tour of the Peace Garden and Memorial Spire and Wall, and then spend time in the interactive galleries and exhibitions. There is a large café onsite for lunch. We finish our tour with free time in the historic city of Lincoln where you can admire the beauty of Lincoln Cathedral, a fine example of English Gothic architecture.

Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway and return home

This morning we visit the No.1 visitor attraction in North East Lincolnshire. Here we take a scenic two mile return journey by narrow gauge steam train admiring the beautiful views along the Humberside Coast, after which you may want to try a drink in the smallest pub on the planet! Return home.
