With scores of exotic and common floral arrangements over two days, plus bands, show jumping and food, this annual event held at The Quarry, the main park in the town of Shrewsbury, is one of the largest events of its type in the United Kingdom. The Shrewsbury Flower Show is also one of the longest-running shows in the country and featured in the 2005 Guinness Book of Records as the ‘Longest-running flower show’ in the world. Popular attractions at the event include the main Quarry Marquee, a non-competitive tent hosting some of the top horticulturalists in the country, and the Dingle Marquee which is home to the Floral Art Exhibitors.
