Nowadays, over 20 official Christmas Markets dotted around the city sell various seasonal gifts and mouth-watering treats. The Viennese Christmas Market in front of the City Hall is an unforgettable highlight for those eager to get into the spirit of Christmas. The unique backdrop gives a charm of its own, and the delicious aromas are sure to bring visitors in seasonal joy. Enjoy a free concert in the town hall and listen to international choirs singing carols on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Day 3
Christmas Markets at Schönbrunn Palace
Visit Schönnbrunn palace and enjoy the Christmas markets with the stunning palace as your backdrop. Approximately 60 exhibitors present handicrafts and original gifts such as hand-made Christmas decorations and nativity sets for visitors to admire and purchase right in front of the famous Palace. The fragrance of freshly baked Christmas cookies and mulled wine fills the air and creates a wonderful atmosphere.
Day 4
Travel back home
No doubt you are now in the right Christmas mood after all those markets, so it’s time to head home. A coach will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you back to Vienna airport for your flight back to the UK.
