Day 1
Cadbury World and travel to your hotel
This afternoon, enjoy a visit to Cadbury World at Bournville near Birmingham and find out how the Cadbury family and their Quaker beliefs led them to build a new and better kind of factory away from the smoke and grime of the city. Discover the Cadbury ‘magic’ with a gentle ride on a ‘Beanmobile’, or take the 4D Chocolate Adventure, an interactive ride that sees you dive into a bowl of liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk, then take to the skies in a Cadbury Creme Egg airship piloted by the Caramel Bunny. And yes, you get to sample the product.
Day 2
Warwick Castle
One of the UK’s leading visitor attractions, Warwick Castle offers a remarkable choice of things to do. Take a tour through the beautiful grand interiors to see the magnificent Great Hall and the lavish state rooms. Explore the battlements and turrets with spectacular views in all directions. Enter the ‘Time Tower’ and witness the birth of the castle, or take a trip through the ‘Horrible Histories Maze. There are several shows during the day, including jousting, birds of prey, and the Mighty Trebuchet, a colossal catapult and the largest working siege machine in the world. And after all that activity, relax with a stroll through the 64 acres of rolling landscaped gardens and fragrant Victorian rose garden.
Day 3
Return home
If time and route permit, stop-off in Stratford-upon-Avon and visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace, or take a relaxing cruise on the River Avon? The Greatdays team can suggest a few options and make all the arrangements.
