London has many famous museums – most are free to enter. Friday
Travel to your hotel in Central London
Aim to arrive at the hotel during the afternoon, and check in. If you arrive early, why not take a walk around Russell Square or pop into the British Museum – only a few minutes away. We can arrange an optional three course set dinner in the hotel restaurant. However, there are several restaurants and pubs in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, so you’ll be spoilt for choice outside the hotel.
After dinner retire to the hotel bar, or alternatively visit one of the many bars and pubs in the area – there are plenty to choose from.
Saturday
Thames River cruise and free time
An English breakfast will be served in the restaurant, Make your way to Westminster Pier and take a trip down the Thames with a 45 minute cruise . Your captain provides informative and entertaining commentary, shedding new light on both the history and modern life of this fascinating city. With the option to sit on our spacious open upper deck or in comfortable indoor saloons, you’re guaranteed a panoramic view of London’s best sights including the Tower of London, Houses of Parliament, South Bank and more.
This afternoon you are free to continue your visit, and we have lots of suggestions. This evening we can offer you a choice of visits – an evening at the theatre or maybe a dinner cruise on the Thames.
There is also the option of dinner in the hotel this evening.
Sunday
Return Home – time for some last minute sightseeing
An English breakfast in the hotel this morning, and if you don’t have to rush off, how about a trip on the River Thames – with live commentary or maybe a trip on the London Eye.
The Royal National Hotel ***
Central London’s biggest hotel, with 1630 rooms, the Royal National has excellent onsite services including restaurants and bars. The large and comfortable rooms have modern amenities – en-suite bathroom, TV, tea & coffee making facilities and room service is also available.
On site you will find Blooms restaurant (with its speciality stone baked Pizzas), and the ‘London Pub’. With a selection of handy shops in the foyer, an ATM and a Bureau de Change for your convenience and a nearby health club with concessionary rates available to guests, the hotel is popular with International groups and guests, and we are now delighted to be able to offer this to our UK groups.
There are also other restaurants attached to the hotel ( under separate ownership)
The hotel is only a short walk from Russell Square underground station and within walking distance of Covent Garden, Holborn and Tottenham Court Road.
This tour is available for groups minimum 20 persons.
