Suggested itinerary by coach

Day 1

Travel to your hotel

If you’re travelling a distance, ask about overnight stops.

Day 2

Isle of Mull

Today we take the 45-minute ferry crossing to the Isle of Mull. We visit Tobermory, the island’s main town, where the brightly painted buildings along the main street give the place a picture-postcard feel, and provide the perfect photo. In the afternoon we visit Duart Castle. Built in 1360 it commands the channel between Mull and the mainland. Visit The Great Hall, with walls on the seaward side that are between 10ft and 23ft thick, explore the gardens and grounds and discover the history of the Chiefs of the Clan.

Day 3

Glencoe and free time in Oban

This morning we take a scenic drive across the bleak Rannoch Moor before descending into the world famous Glencoe with a stop at the visitor centre. We return to Oban along the banks of Loch Linnhe and Loch Creran for free time to explore the town.

Day 4

Fort William

We retrace our route along Loch Linnhe to visit Fort William. The town sits in the shadow of Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain. Stroll along the High Street, visit the West Highland Museum, or simply relax in one of the many cafes. After lunch we return to Oban for an opportunity to buy those last-minute souvenirs.

Day 5

Return home
